Homicides, other crimes in Houston significantly down this year compared to 2023, according to Texas DPS data
The online portal for the Texas Department of Public Safety's Uniform Crime Reporting System, based on data self-reported by law enforcement agencies, shows a 27.1% year-over-year decrease in total crime incidents as reported by the Houston Police Department during the first three months of 2024.
